Daniel Blake

Dan came to MRINetwork™ from IBM Global Business Services where he was the Global and Americas Automotive Leader. This responsibility included managing client relationships, client satisfaction, and value realization. As Global Leader for the Automotive Industry, he was responsible for developing industry strategy, thought leadership, industry solutions, personnel development, and leveraging all IBM product and services to address global industry challenges. With over 25 years of industrial and consulting experience, Dan is recognized as an automotive industry thought leader on issues effecting manufacturers, suppliers, retailers, and consumers.

Previously, he served as a Partner and the Americas Leader for the Automotive industry at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Consulting. Dan's extensive experience includes leading and implementing large-scale business strategies and enterprise-wide performance improvement initiatives. He has led business engagements that involve enterprise-wide supply chain re-engineering, performance metrics / balanced scorecard, order management, forecasting/planning, procurement, warehouse operations, distribution and transportation planning.

Prior to joining PwC Consulting, Dan worked for General Electric in positions of increasing responsibility, encompassing supply chain and manufacturing management across three different divisions of the corporation. He was responsible for manufacturing programs, including budget attainment, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction. His experience with GE spanned all functional areas of Manufacturing, including Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement and Manufacturing Operations. He received his bachelor’s degree in Engineering from West Virginia University and is certified C.P.I.M. from APICS.
